Nursing Care

 

RMI is striving to achieve excellence in the provision of patient care through developing and practicing nursing in an innovative, empowered and learning environment. RMI'S nurses provide much of the personal care for patients, including assistance walking, and helping with meals.

The nurse's staff of RMI takes a proactive role in the prevention and management of chronic diseases in the adult and geriatric patient. RMI's Nursing staff works round the clock with the patient's well being in mind, which guarantees provision of ‘quality healthcare. The nursing staff administers medications, check blood pressure and glucose, and assist with mealtimes, mobility, and hygiene.

Their scope of care covers a wide variety of diagnoses related to Medical Surgical nursing. Typically, they care for patients with cancer, diabetes, infections, cardio-respiratory conditions, cardiovascular accidents and minor trauma. Surgical care is related to general surgery, orthopedic, urology, gynecology, ear, nose and throat conditions.
