Dialysis Unit
Dialysis is one of the most common treatments for patients with kidney disease.
There are two kinds of dialysis:
- Hemodialysis
- Peritoneal Dialysis
The RMI's Dialysis Unit has been established to offer to patients, needing hemodialysis treatment with the latest modern methods. The medical equipment is continuously updated and purchased according to the latest therapies available, which results in a non-stop improvement of the center's facilities. Filters are never re-used. Water purification is based on reversed osmosis and dialysate on bicarbonate.
This unit is part of the overall hospital plan to provide a modern, comprehensive treatment program for patients with end-stage renal disease. The Dialysis unit is equipped with 4 Dialysis machines including one imported Dialysis chair.
