Medical Education and Curriculum
The instructional curriculum at the institute is designed in accordance with the guidance and requirements recommended by the Ministry of Higher Education, government of Afghanistan with cooperation with World Health Organization (WHO), and from other well-known medical universities of world and neighboring countries. Student-Centered classes PBL (Problem based Learning), CBL(Case based learning) and OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical examination) are carry out by professional teachers that were trained in foreign countries such as japan, who are founder of this program in Afghanistan.
CMI accepts standard in curative medicine and dental medicine facilities. Our curriculum is based on arthritis medical curriculum. Every educational year consist of two semesters. One spring semester and one fall semester/
Curative Medicine Consist of 7 years, six years of which include lectures and practical's as well clinical postings and the one year of internship.
at the end the students will issued MD degree which is attested by the ministry of higher education of Afghanistan.
Dental Faculty: Consist of 5 years, 4 years and half of which includes lecture. Practical as well as clinical postings and last semester will be the internship period.
The student will issued DMD degree which is attested by the Ministery of Higher Education of Afghanistan.
Pharmacy: Consist of 4 years and the students will receive B. Pharm degree which is attested by the Ministery of Higher Education of Afghanistan.
